24 Hours of Booty has promoted Brittany Wilson to fundraising and recruitment director and has hired Carrie Futral as office manager.
In her role, Wilson will oversee rider recruitment and corporate fundraising efforts for the 24 Hours of Booty charity cycling events in Charlotte, Indianapolis and Columbia, Md. With the organization since 2015, Wilson first served in the internship program and was promoted to communications and outreach coordinator and now fundraising and recruitment director for 24 Hours of Booty. She graduated from Gardner-Webb University with a bachelor of arts degree in Communication Studies and Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration, and recently earned a Master of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Futral has been involved with 24 Hours of Booty since 2004, first as a rider and then as a volunteer in 2006. Through her volunteer role, Futral helped develop and coordinate the cancer survivor portion of the event by connecting with survivors and caregivers. She brings extensive HR background to her role from training to hiring and interviewing to overseeing employee manuals and benefits. Futral has also been in involved with school Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) and Parent Teacher Organizations (PTOs) for 17 years and most recently served as president of the Providence High School Parent Teacher Student Organization. She graduated from Purdue University with a business degree.
