The Lupus Foundation of America, North Carolina Chapter (LFANC) is hosting its “2016 Lupus Empowerment Workshop Series” in Greensboro on Wednesday, June 15.
The workshop in Greensboro is scheduled for 6:30-8:30PM and will take the place of the regularly scheduled monthly Guilford County Lupus Support Group Meeting in June. The seminar will be held at Guilford Technical Community College in the Continuing Education Center Building located at 3505 E. Wendover Avenue in Greensboro (27405). Dr. Stacy Kennedy with Rowan Diagnostics Clinic will present on “Lupus and the Blood.”
In this session, attendees will learn about blood abnormalities and what terminologies mean about the different types of blood issues that affect people with lupus.

The “2016 Lupus Empowerment Workshop Series” is a six-city series of educational workshops that will provide individuals affected by lupus with methods for not only living, but also thriving. The seminars offer information on different topics from subject matter experts. The remaining four will take place on: June 14 in Fayetteville; July 19 in Wilmington and on Aug. 20 in Charlotte and Raleigh.
